About the Podcasters
Olivia Hoover
Olivia is a professional web designer and freelance graphic designer. As a kid, she always wanted to host her own show - the dream came true when she fell in love with RVA after moving here from Upstate NY for her job and decided to start a podcast. In her spare time she enjoys visiting Seneca Lake, singing, porch sitting with her best friend Liz, and cuddling with her kitty.
Liz Shumate
Liz, a Richmond native, is a workflow coordinator and a substitute teacher for the Richmond City School District. She loves running road races with Big Daddy, being her toy poodle Boudreaux’s mommy and traveling all over the world. Liz has a huge collection cute of clothes, shoes, jewelry, hats, and makeup. She is also a talented singer. She is a true Richmond socialite having lived here her whole life.
Matt Shumate (Big Daddy)
Matt is a civil engineer in the city of Richmond. He runs/edits the sound on our podcast. He loves craft beer, taking long walks in the Church Hill area and running road races with his wife, Liz. Matt attends Oktoberfest in Munich annually and is an experienced world traveler. Matt is also a talented pianist who has played in several local bands.
